2018/2019 - Student Reassignment Information
Student reassignment requests for 2018/2019 school year (school starting August 2018) are now being accepted through June 1, 2018. To print or download the reassignment form, please click on the link above. The student reassignment form must be submitted in order to be considered for reassignment. The 2018/2019 reassignment form will be the only form accepted.
To request student reassignment, one copy of the Request for Student Reassignment form must be completed for each student and submitted to: Office of the Superintendent, Stokes County Schools, PO Box 50, Danbury, NC 27016, ATTN: Student Reassignment. If you are applying for a waiver on tuition, please complete the Tuition Waiver Application form. Both forms must be completed in accordance with timelines specified in Policy 4150. In applying for a student transfer, please read all requirements outlined in Policy 4150 and 4150 Administrative Procedure.
All children domiciled in Stokes County and qualified under the laws of North Carolina for admission to a public school are assigned by the Stokes County Board of Education to attend a school located within their geographic attendance area.
