Stokes County Schools and the Stokes County Board of Education is seeking input regarding a potential change to the transportation model that serves Stokes County. Please take time to read the following information and answer the one question survey at the end of this document.
The Board of Education approved the following Principal recommendations effective July 1, 2021:
Meghan Wood, Poplar Springs Elementary
Matthew Richardson, Mount Olive Elementary
Dr. Samuel Jones, West Stokes High
The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) program helps families purchase food for children whose access to free or reduced-priced meals at school has been impacted by COVID-19 because students are learning virtually, outside of brick-and-mortar schools. P-EBT is a collaboration between the NC Department of Health and Human Services and the NC Department of Public Instruction.
Parents of children who will be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2021 are requested to call the school in their attendance area to set up an appointment to register their child for kindergarten. Please visit our Kindergarten Registration webpage for information.

This year there is no Reduced--all reduced are Free but YOU MUST FILL OUT THE APPLICATION EVERY YEAR! This will impact your child's school.

Stokes County Schools is requesting that all parents/guardians complete the enrollment packet for each child. Please complete online as soon as possible. You will need to create an account. This account consists of a valid email address and password. Once you have added your child/children to your Dashboard, you are ready to Begin the Application.
NC Pre-K applications for the school year beginning August 2021 will be available in March 2021.
