Title I Programs Stakeholder Meeting
Announcement - May 26, 2020:
Stokes County Schools will be holding the annual Federal Title I Programs Stakeholder Meeting
in preparation for creating and submitting the grant application for the 2020-2021 school year.
Due to COVID 19, the district has opted to hold the stakeholder meeting in a virtual format.
Parents, guardians, school staff and community members with an interest in our Title I schools
are welcome to join either meeting. To increase participation in this process, we will be holding
two meeting times for participants to choose. The first meeting will be on Tuesday, June 2, 2020
from 3:30 – 5:30 pm. The second meeting time is Wednesday, June 3, 2020 from 9:00 – 11:00
To participate in these meetings, you will need to join the Google Meet either through the link
posted above or on the district website or by calling in to the number provided.

The agenda for the meeting will include discussions on the projected allocations, district
set-asides, parent / family engagement policies, and identify goals for the upcoming year. Please
click here to access Stokes County Schools Parent Involvement Policy. Each of these items will
be posted on the district website so that you can view the documents in advance. Please come
prepared to have an open discussion about the needs of our schools so that we can have
appropriate and achievable goals for the 2020-2021 school year.
Following the sessions, there will be a follow-up survey to gather input and prioritize the needs
and goals of our district. Participants will be asked to sign in via a Google survey and provide
their email addresses. The survey will be posted as well as sent to the email address provided.
