School Counselors
School counselors provide direct and indirect services to Stokes County Schools' students. School counselors focus their work on supporting students' academic achievement, career development, social-emotional development, and mental wellness. School counselors are required to complete a master's degree program in school counseling and are able to provide classroom and group lessons and individual and small group counseling. They also collaborate and consult with families and teachers to assist students in developing the skills and behaviors essential for academic and personal success.
