ADVERTISEMENT FOR INCREASED OR UPSET BIDS

The Stokes County Board of Education (“Board of Education”) seeks increased or upset bids for the purchase of a modular classroom building located on the former Meadowbrook Academy property, 813 Meadowbrook Drive, King, NC 27021. This structure contains approximately 7,700 square feet, consisting of seven (7) classrooms, three (3) restrooms, and two (2) metal ramps. The current offer for this structure is $100,000.00. An increased offer of not less than $105,050.00 may be submitted in writing to the Board of Education at 100 Courthouse Circle, Danbury, NC 27016 within ten (10) days from October 13, 2025. Any increased offer must include a deposit in cash or by official bank check equal to five percent (5.00%) of the amount of the increased offer. If an increased offer is received, this process will be repeated until no further qualifying upset bids are received.

The purchaser is responsible for all costs in the removal and relocation of this structure.
