Stokes County Schools Career and Technical Education

Career and Technical Education offers Stokes County Schools' students the opportunity to explore future career interests, follow individual CTE pathways, earn credentials and gain employability skills.  

The Stokes County School System offers CTE courses in seven program areas:

  • Agricultural Education

  • Business, Finance, and Marketing Education

  • Career Development Education

  • Computer Science, IT and Technology Education

  • Family and Consumer Science Education

  • Health Science Education

  • Trade and Industrial Education

In 2024–2025, our students earned a total of 2,497 career and technical education (CTE) credentials.
These industry-recognized certifications highlight the skills our students are gaining in agriculture, health sciences, construction trades, business, technology, and more—helping them graduate ready for college, careers, and life.
