London Elementary has had a power outage this afternoon. It does not appear power will be restored before the end of the school day.
We are going to stay in school with the students until the end of the day, and buses will run at normal times.
Parents may pick up students early.
In partnership with Stokes County Schools, The Arts Place of Stokes is offering Summer Camps. Register by May 31st.
When we invest in children, we are investing in our communities. This April, help bring attention to all the different ways we can support children and families.

Conservation Educator of the Year
Ms. Jessica Edwards has been selected as the 2024 Stokes County Conservation Educator of the Year by the Soil & Water board.
She will be recognized at the Awards Banquet being held on May 23rd at YMCA Camp Hanes Dining Hall.
Marsha Dunn, teacher at South Stokes School has been nominated for Teacher of the Year through Reader's Digest America's Favorite Teacher competition.
